Holly convertible...That is a verry nice car. The home of it is also very nice.. If hope for axel that sign on the wall about REME is original :shock: And what about the early frontclips I see in the attic.. Yep I'm still alive ! :shock: But not playing football anymore!! :lol: :lol: I don't liked people who where tackling from behind in that time, And I still don't like it now, so I was giving him a yellow card for this kick :lol: , a few years ago I would give him a red card :oops: , but I know Kev is a nice guy and normaly he's playing the game fair ! The Karmann is from February 1950. it has cablebrakes and the original floor. The tail lights have original the small alurings. And the headlights have the vw sign down, but without the rim abouve. Regards Axel [ATTACH]827[/Attach]

Thanks Axel, mine is Januari 1950. I found yesterday a missing headlightlense with VW sign down at the Swapmeet in Mol, Belgium. I have already the rear lights with alluminium bezel also hard to find and expensive! Regards, Pascal.

Axel That is looking fantastic!!!.A true inspiration for me.I am down here in New Zealand and have a '51 Karmann Kabrio under long term restoration,my one is originally Black and Ivory with Red Leather interior so great to see what it will look like again one day. Would love to see any more pictures you feel like sharing. In need of a rear seat base if any one can help!!!!!!
