I wouldn't give up. Some prices on the Samba are by no means a reference to go by...How many cars really sell for idiotic prices like that?! The seller is obviously making a fool of himself. I never paid more than £4K for any of the splits I had and they were all running! And we're not talking more than six years ago...

Plus, the internet wasn't so mainstream like it is now. Once the internet popped up, the prices went through the roof.
