Just a quick note to let all 36hp owners know about a 36hp specific racing series held at the Bonneville Salt Flats,Utah: Maxton, North Carolina: and Goliad, Texas. This is for both bone stock 36hp Beetles as well as modified Bugs. If you have an interest in seeing how fast your 36er will go, check out www.burlyb.com. Nothing is for sale, this is all just for giggles! If it looks interesting, please feel free to contact me through this forum or at the email address listed at the web-site. Our goal is to exceed the speed of the worlds fastest 36hp based bug set clear back in 1961 by Dick Beith. See you on the salt.
