2013 - The year of the coach built VW!

Our 2013 homage to the VW coach builder’s art promises to be something very special. We are bringing together the finest, rarest and most valuable VW coach built cars from the 50’s and 60’s for your enjoyment.

Jon's going in his oval. Old Blue is too stock for the show, unlike the oval!

I may go along if I can stand the lowered bumpy ride:cry:

No car is too stock for the Volksworld show.In fact one year a totally stock car won Best of Show.
Each year there are dozens of stock cars attending.

If it was an older car I think it would be more of a show interest. Later upright headlamp Beetles are just starting to come into their own now though.

I shall be there in a stock 65 bus. There is usually a good showing of stock vehicles.

I shall be there in some form of stock VW.

47 Beetle, 56 UK Karmann Cabriolet, 56 UK Beetle, 57 UK Type 2, 59 UK Beetle, 66 UK Fastback.

There's always been stock cars at the show, early and late - but they have to be among the best to be there and you have to look for them in-between all sorts of weird and wonderful creations.

Who knows what weather the year will bring and what shows might be cancelled because of it (there was one cancelled this weekend), personally I like the Volksworld show because you know it's going to be good regardless of the weather, so it's worth making the effort.

i was displaying the 67 inside in the special 60th year display, but had to pull out at the last minute due to some issues. Im gutted to say the least. 😶

will be displaying my 62 outside instead.

i will be there camping in a stock 64 bug, camping with my 6 month pregnant wife so if you see us say hi(she's the fat one)
